Learn how to create machine learning models that enable computer applications to operate without direct human interference.
Request InfoMachine learning refers to software applications that find solutions and predict outcomes without being explicitly programmed to do so. It’s the process of programming computers to identify patterns in data and solve problems with minimal to no human interference.
Artificial Intelligence refers to computers that are programmed to think “like” a human and perform tasks on their own, while machine learning refers to the specific processes different programs use to build knowledge and memory. Machine learning techniques and algorithms are the building blocks of any artificial intelligence.
Credential Earned: Diploma

Machine learning has a wide variety of applications that span several in-demand industries.
Alexa and Siri are more common examples, but even chatbots like ChatGPT are powered by machine learning.
Photo identification ranges from AI-generated artworks to programs that allow doctors to identify early-stage cancers.
Machine learning can be used to track traffic patterns or resource movement in order to optimize existing systems.
Movies use machine learning to create realistic-looking snowfall and particle effects, an incredibly resource-intensive process.
This program prepares you for a career within these fields as outlined by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (SOC).
